Ducted dehumidifier price in the UAE

A concealed ducted system is priced per building, after a survey: the unit, the duct runs, the drain, the controller and the commissioning are one quote. This page explains what sets the price and what to expect; the figure itself comes from an engineer.

Published prices per system are added once supplier pricing is confirmed. Until then every figure comes with a quote.

Four systems, one way of pricing.

Each quote covers the unit, the installation and the commissioning. The family depends on whether the building needs recirculation, fresh air, or both.

  • Series R

    Most homes

    Recirculating ducted dehumidifier

Dries the air already in the building and returns it through its own ducts. Villas and apartments with a good fresh-air supply.

Two square white ceiling air diffusers next to wrapped insulated pipes on an exposed ceiling
    • Dedicated return and supply ducts
    • Plumbed condensate drain
    • Humidistat on a wall controller
    • Filter stages as listed on the datasheet

  • Series F

    Fresh-air dehumidifier with heat recovery

Brings in filtered outdoor air, dries it and recovers energy from the exhaust. Sealed apartments and buildings that need ventilation.

Mint-green air-handling unit panels with an inspection window, sensors and a pressure gauge
    • Supply and exhaust air paths
    • Heat recovery between the two
    • Plumbed condensate drain
    • Filter stages as listed on the datasheet

  • Series H

    High-capacity ducted dehumidifier

For large volumes: warehouses, hotels, showrooms and pools.

Bright mechanical plant room with green pipework, a red pump and insulated overhead pipes
    • Sized per zone from the moisture load
    • Plant-room or ceiling-void mounting
    • Plumbed condensate drain
    • Controls for building management systems

  • Series T

    Ducted fresh-air treatment unit

Treats the fresh air before it reaches the rooms: filters, dries and exhausts.

Insulated silver ducts running down to green air-handling units with inspection windows
    • Dries incoming fresh air
    • Exhaust path for stale air
    • Plumbed condensate drain
    • Filter stages as listed on the datasheet

What sets the price, in order.

Five things decide the quote. The survey settles all of them before a number is written down.

  1. 01

The moisture load, not the floor area

The unit is sized from how much water the building takes in: occupancy, showers and cooking, fresh-air intake, glazing and how well the envelope is sealed. Two villas of the same size can need different units.

  2. 02

    The system family

A recirculating unit dries the air already inside. A fresh-air unit also brings in filtered outdoor air and recovers energy from the exhaust. Large volumes need the high-capacity family. The family sets the unit price band.

  3. 03

    What installation adds

Duct runs and grilles, the ceiling access, the plumbed drain, the electrical supply and the controller. A retrofit with long duct runs costs more to install than a new build where the ceilings are still open.

  4. 04

    Running cost at DEWA rates

Running cost is the unit's rated power multiplied by the hours it actually runs on the humidistat, at the DEWA tariff on your bill. We publish the measured figure per system once it is in hand, instead of an estimate.

  5. 05

    Filters and service

Filter replacement intervals are on the datasheet. A service plan with filter changes and seasonal checks is quoted separately so you can see the yearly cost on its own.

Questions people ask

Why is there no price on the page?

Because a ducted system is a small installation, not a boxed product. The same unit can be a short job in a new villa and a longer one in a finished apartment with limited ceiling access. A quote after a survey is accurate; a number on a page would not be.

What does the quote include?

The unit, the return and supply ducts with grilles, the condensate drain connection, the electrical connection to a point you provide, the wall controller, commissioning with a readings report, and the handover. Anything outside that scope is listed as an option so there are no surprises.

Is VAT included?

The quote states whether VAT is included and shows the total, so the figure is clear before you confirm.

How does it compare with buying portable units?

A portable unit treats one room and has a tank to empty, so whole-villa control often needs several of them. A ducted system is one quote, one plumbed drain and one controller for the whole building. The ducted vs portable guide compares the two side by side.

How is the running cost worked out?

Rated power in watts, multiplied by the hours the unit runs, gives kilowatt-hours; multiplied by the DEWA tariff on your bill gives the cost. Because the humidistat stops the unit when the setpoint is reached, the running hours are usually far below 24 a day. We publish the measured figure per system once it is in hand.
