Quotes

A quote is based on the information you give us and on the site survey. It lists the unit, the duct runs and grilles, the drain and electrical connections, the controller, the commissioning and the handover, and anything outside that scope as an option. A quote is valid for the period stated on it and becomes an order only when you confirm it in writing.

Prices are stated in UAE dirhams. The quote states whether VAT is included.

Site assessments

During an assessment an engineer takes humidity and temperature readings, looks inside the ceiling void, checks the drain and power options and walks the duct routes. You arrange access to the property and to any areas controlled by building management. The readings are recorded and used for the design and the quote. Whether an assessment is charged, and how the charge is treated if you go ahead, is stated when the visit is booked.

Installation

The installation follows the scope in the confirmed quote. The dehumidifier is installed on its own return and supply ducts and is never connected into the air-conditioning ductwork. You are responsible for obtaining any permission the building management, the landlord or the authority requires for the work, and for giving us access during the agreed hours. Changes to the scope are agreed in writing before they are carried out and may change the price and the schedule.

At handover we commission the system, record the readings at every grille and give you a report with the setpoints and the maintenance plan.

Payment

The payment schedule is stated on the quote. Invoices are issued in UAE dirhams. Equipment remains our property until it is paid for in full.

Warranty and service plans

Each system is covered by the manufacturer's warranty and by our installation warranty, as stated in the warranty document that comes with the quote. The warranty does not cover damage caused by power faults, by a blocked drain that was not reported, by filters not being changed at the intervals on the datasheet, or by work done on the system by others.

Service plans with filter changes and seasonal checks are quoted separately and run for the period stated on the plan.

Cancellation

You can cancel a confirmed order before the equipment is ordered without charge. After that, costs we have already incurred, such as equipment that cannot be returned, are charged. Survey visits can be moved without charge with reasonable notice.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for the equipment and the work described in the quote. We are not responsible for removing mould that was present before the installation, for defects in the building or its ducts, drains or wiring that were not part of our scope, or for loss caused by the system being switched off or left without power. To the extent the law allows, our liability under a contract is limited to the value of that contract.

Using this website

The content on this site is for information. Performance figures are quoted from manufacturer datasheets with the test condition stated, and running costs are published only once they have been measured. Where a figure is not yet available, the page says so rather than estimating it. Links to other sites are provided for reference and we are not responsible for their content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes that cannot be settled between us are referred to the courts of the emirate in which the company is registered.
