Humidity control for Jumeirah homes

Jumeirah's beachside villas are older than most of Dubai's stock, with timber doors and gates that swell in summer: in July 2024 Khaleej Times reported a Jumeirah villa whose front door and gate had jammed since the humidity rose. Older ductwork and small ceiling voids shape the install here.

What that means for a home here

  • Holding the indoor humidity steady is what stops timber doors, wardrobes and parquet swelling every summer and shrinking back every winter.

  • Older villas with shallow ceiling voids get the unit in a store room or plant space with short duct runs, chosen on the survey.
